My wife and I went on a date. The theater has a very casual atmosphere. There is no kitchen, and nothing served except for a small snack bar with soda, water, chips, candy, etc. The staff were genuinely friendly. The seating far outstripped attendance that evening- but a staff member did report that their events sell out as well. The actual comedy was very reminiscent of "Whose line is it anyway?" The comedians were on two competing teams, however the "winning" seemed secondary to the entertainment. My wife and I laughed quite a bit, especially during a sketch when one comedian guessed correctly from clues that he was kayaking on a zebra in a body of water that was actually blood. His reaction was hysterical! The referee was in charge of keeping time for the sketches, getting audience input for concepts to incorporate in the sketch, and calling "fouls." I was apprehensive at first that the theater had a policy of avoiding crude, obscene, or foul comedy- but it was not at all saccharine. The lack of "adult" humor was not missed in the frenetic energy and hilarious acting. My wife and I easily concluded that we would return. The staff there are positive, so much so that in addition to the team scores they awarded me a point for the suggestion use of a luchador in one sketch. The announced then dutifully called the team scores, followed by mine for the remainder of the evening. The night concluded with one team winning, and then as we walked out the door all the night's players gave us high fives. Very positive experience.
