Exceptional food. This is hands-down the best combination of flavors I've ever had anywhere in Richmond. The chef's careful combination of flavors and textures produces wonderful dishes with ingredients that subtly complement each other - a task many higher-end/priced establishments strive to achieve.

The food was superb, and the service was generally good, too, though we were quoted $2.95 for a bourbon and soda, and it turned out to be $7 (the waiter must have had too many bourbon and sodas himself)! We didn't mention the discrepancy because everything else had been fine, but we thought it must have been a happy-hour price when he had mentioned $2.95.

Second time there and the food was as good as it was during Restaurant Week. The service was a bit slower, but we also were there at a busier time this time around.

Service was friendly but a little lacking. My wife was a bit put off that the waiter did not address or look at her once. Food was excellent.
