About Goddess Unisex Salon

The year was 1934 when a little German bakery opened on Seneca Avenue. At the time, the neighborhood in which it resided was a mostly German area, where recent immigrants had gathered to forge a new life in the New World. However, the recent German transplants still ached for something of the Old World, and Rudy's had just the thing: baked goods. Using classic German recipes, the bakers served up strudels and black forest cake that tasted of home. Today, 80 years has passed, but the bakery hasn't forgotten its roots. The same sweet and savory treats can still be found behind the counter, along with a few new additions, such as flourless chocolate cake and oatmeal marshmallow sandwiches.
