Maria takes the time to explain the process of electrolysis to all of her patients and quickly develops a rapport that made me feel comfortable asking her questions throughout the appointment - no question was too small. She does an incredible job: she has a gentle and highly effective touch. She pays attention to ensure that her patients are educated, informed consumers; she goes above and beyond the call of duty in making sure her patients are happy and healthy. It was a pleasure to spend an hour chatting with her: the hour flew by, and as a bonus, the hair was gone at the end of our conversation! I had a good time with her, which is important in an electrologist given the nature of the treatment. I felt further comfortable and safe due to the cleanliness of her office and of her equipment. Drink lots of water and NO caffeine the day you go. Also take some type of pain med. I have had laser treatments done before but not this. there is pain involved but I'm sure it's all worth it when you have no hair. She is very nice and takes her time and explains everything to you plus how the hair grows. I have had one treatment done so far.

Make sure you understand what electrolysis is and how it differs from laser and waxing.
