About Historic Rock Hill

Historic Rock Hill preserves structures that have historical significance to the South Carolina city. They work with public and private groups in order to restore and preserve endangered properties. Its central treasure is the stately White Home, which was built in 1839 in the East Town District by one of the region’s founding families. Some of its other projects have included the Williams Gulf Station and Hermon Presbyterian Church.

Parking information should be added to the fine print. Tour of the house is only appointment basis - please add that info in fineprint too. That will be really helpful.

The White home is a fascinating and we'll restored gem. So much information packed into it. The old main street area is great, Good food, sweets, and neat things to do. It's becoming a fovorite place to kill a Saturday afternoon. Defiantly check out the pottery, great guys in a wonderful building.

It closes early on Saturdays (2PM) but you need less than an hour for whole tour.
