I thinks it's unreasonable to advertise a coupon for services $129 then charge a extra fee of $139 before services will be rendered.
Complete rip off! Showed up very late, moved intentionally slow, charged an extra $140 for the drive, $150 for supplies & $140 per extra hour. Left my bed behind, had no tools (asked to use mine), put nothing where it goes, didn't put furniture toget
It was not a please t experience. There has been a billing error and a box was missing and they have yet to call me back.
They grossly over priced the service and gave misleading estimates. An estimate for 4 hours ended up being an 8 hour move. From $400 to $700. And the one of the movers spent over an hour sitting around.
The sales rep. Sam, gave me a deal and on the night prior to it, he denied doing the deal. When I asked him to talk to another rep., he refused because he said: " he had spent too much time with me to allow someone takes the deal."
The crew killed as much time as they could, 30 minutes or more. When we arrived to new address, less then 1/4 miles from the previous one, they demanded to be paid for besides the contracted time, also 3 more hours according to their "estimate" to move in the same things they moved out in half of the time. When my son called, the manager showed prejudice condescending, and patronized him. There are 39 complaints against them just this year at the BBB.
They are the worst moving company I've ever seen in my life. They make you wait and charge you money on that. They charge you a lot more money than they said, and if you don't pay that, they WILL NOT UNLOAD YOUR STUFF!!!!! They threatened to take your stuff away!! DON'T EVER use them to move. That's the worst choice in the whole world.
They will nickel and dime you to death. Their fees are through the roof. Never again!
Horrible experience with your representative who collected you payment. No respect for the client. Badly needs further customer service training. Remember, "The customer is your pay check".
My furniture is damage and when showed this to your representative he response was "oh well what you want me to do? They tell you one thing on the phone but you find out much more in the end that they are very dishonest and disorganized. I sincerely would not recommend CROSS STATE MOVING to anyone.
