Food is fabulous, lots of great selections.

We eat a large selection of foreign food when we go out. We've been to La Canela probably once a year since they opened, and we're never disappointed. Very nice menu. We had a great seviche. And a wonderful selection of entrees. Great drinks. Great service. We had a lot of fun with the waiters who were very helpful. We went early in the evening on a weeknight when it was almost empty, but they filled up quickly.

Great Peruvian food--it has maintained it's quality over a number of years, and is as good as ever. Also nice ambience and décor. Re the next question, I don't know if they do takeout or delivery, I personally would much rather go there and enjoy feeling like I'm back in Peru.

Our last visit the service was very slow and poor, our glasses were empty most of the time both water and soda. getting a to go box and check took for ever.

Good food and lovely room designs. Odd service.

My wife and daughter are Peruvian and have been in the US less than two years. I lived in Peru 4 years before moving back to the States. We all missed the traditional unique flavors of Peru. La Canela brought tears to my wife's and daughter's eyes as the food reminded them of home and the cooking of their mother and grandmother.

Great place...keeping the sisters dream alive of sharing the amazing cuisine of Peru with the lucky people of Rockville!!!
