This place is a gold mine. Our 2 year old had a blast. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. If you have kids or if you like trains this is your place. Great up close view of of real trains too. They have covered picnic tables for bringing in food so you don’t have to leave and if you need to leave you can come and go all day in case you want to get lunch in town. Educational

It’s the perfect little museum fo a small town. We had a wonderful tour guide who was sooo polite, patient with our large group, and very very knowledgeable about railroads, and train history. There was a scavenger hunt that kept the kids interested. Masks were required due to COVID. Everyone remained socially distant I’d definitely recommend this museum to anyone who is interested in a history.

We came on a sunny afternoon. My three children (ages 10,8 & 7) enjoyed the activities inside the museum. We also found the tour outside very interesting and informative.

A small museum but full of history and artifacts. The guide was knowledgeable and very nice. The model train only runs on the 4th Sunday of the month, so if you are taking kids who want to see it, take that into account. Great for history buffs or people/kids who love trains. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
