Great place to relax and learn with a hands on experience approach. There is walking involved or one can wait for the tractor to transport you from exhibit to exhibit. There may be mosquitos but you are outside mostly so this is expected. Family fun activities.

George Ranch is always exciting for the kids. They like to see the animals and the blacksmith. For Easter they always have an egg hunt.

The park is wonderful and there are events going there weekends. I especially enjoy the reenactments.

Awesome living Museum! Everyone was amazing so knowlegeable and friendly. This incredible frontier Texas family teaches us so much about the times and lives of so many. My parents and I loved it.

Go in late fall or winter when the mosquitoes die down. Otherwise you will get bitten.
