About Tiny Tails to You!

The zookeepers and storytellers at Tiny Tails to You! travel from town to town to organize pop-up petting zoos four days a week, and lease out hands-on learning experiences for festivals, summer camps, and private parties. What beasts turn up at these parties is up to the customer, who might arrange for anything from an avalanche of fluffy bunnies and baby birds to an encampment of chinchillas, hedgehogs, leopard geckos, and tortoises. The staff's love for animals extends beyond informative show-and-tells—head zookeeper Ed Bradfield offers pet-sitting services for dogs, cats, exotic pets, and house-trained rocks, and the zookeepers are nearly always offering baby bunnies for adoption.

The workers taught the children about the animals and taught them to safely hold the animals. The animals and the children were completely safe.

Groups to big. Should offer more days and smaller groups so the kids get more time with the animals.

I think there were slightly more kids than normal because it was a holiday (MLK day) so maybe you had to move a bit quicker, but we would have liked the time spent with the actual animals to be a bit slower paced and more informative. Petting a bunny is nice (very nice!), but learning that they live in burrows and are mammals along with the holding is even nicer (at least for us parents!). We did have a lovely time, my kids loved the animals, and the stories. My thought is that maybe if the group had been smaller it would have been easier to keep the attention of the small ones long enough to share a bit more about each creature as they were cuddled. Still, a great outing with my kids. Thx!

EMOSMy 2 year old enjoyed petting all of the animals! The staff made sure each kid got to hold whatever animal they wanted to. Some of the kids were scared, but the staff helped them get to know the animals and get comfortable with them. The hardest part for me was getting my dauhter to leave the bunnies there!
