What services does your business offer and what makes your business standout from the competition?

I primarily offer skincare and waxing services. I pride myself on offering a very personalized experience, making sure the client is well informed about what he or she may be getting. All services are customized to the needs of the client.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I've been in the industry for approx. 20 yrs. My original inspiration was my mother. My father had fallen very ill and she was his primary caretaker. As a way to get a break and do something for herself, she started getting her nails done. I noticed how it made her feel to just escape for that 1 hour and she looked forward to it. So I decided I wanted to be the person to make others feel that way.

What do you love most about your job?

Interacting with my clients and helping to boost their confidence by helping them progress to renewed and healthy skin.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

There habe been quite a few but one that stands out is a young lady who had moderate to severe acne. She always tried to cover it with makeup which made it worse. I put her on a weekly series of facials, a better homecare routine and identified some diet triggers for the acne. After a couple months, she sent me a picture and a thank you card. She had the biggest smile and glowing skin. She said it had been so long since she was able to go without makeup and she now felt confident to take her first selfie!
