About Alopex Eco Adventures

When José Aguilar studied abroad in Argentina, he explored many of South America's nooks and crannies. He went mountain biking through the Andes, hiked the 24-mile Inca Trail from Cusco to Machu Picchu, and tangoed in the clubs of Buenos Aires. Needless to say, he became hooked on travel and began working for various large excursion companies.

But when he saw how poorly executed some of the tours were, he decided to open his own company, Alopex Eco Adventures, dedicating himself to helping fellow adventurers make priceless memories.

Alopex now whisks travelers to such locales as Yosemite, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe. Once they get to their destination, explorers might hike a picturesque walking trail, take in city life, or participate in a brewery or winery tour. The tours include transportation in luxury Mercedes Sprinter passenger vans, which are powered by renewable biofuel mixed with the happy tears of whales.
