Dion Moore has lived the kinds of dreams most folks write off as improbable. He's worked as a magician, dancer, stunt actor, and even as pro wrestler Cougar Jay. But he found his true calling as a storyteller and tour guide, and he's spent the last 15 years bringing St. Augustine's most chilling ghost stories and legends to life.

At The American Spinners, Moore and his team of experienced Spinners (tour guides) lead guests through the city's historic streets on walking tours, relaying St. Augustine's 450 years of tragedy, mayhem, and murder. Their horse-and-carriage tours, meanwhile, offer a fittingly old-fashioned way to explore long-past events, such as the time the first horse and carriage became mayor of St. Augustine. As Spinners weave their spooky tales, guests keep eyes peeled for orbs and ghostly activity at eerie burial grounds and potential paranormal hotspots.
