About Brigitte's Cafe

German-born Brigitte Schneider was known as a wunderkind restaurateur in St. Cloud according to an interview on AM 1240 WJON's website. She had been working and running various restaurants in the area since the 1960's providing people with tasty, comfort foods. She confessed that she had a particular way of doing things and her meticulous style is still embraced by her employees today. In fact, some of Brigitte's café employees have worked for her family of 36 years.

Though Brigitte has passed away as of August 2014 her two oldest children, David Olson and Julie Bichler, have been the owners of Brigitte's Café for the last 20 years, while her youngest son, Michael Olson, was with the café for 17 years.
