About A Taste of San Diego

If you can't decide where to eat amid San Diego's wealth of top-tier restaurants, it might be time to go ahead and try them all at once. A Taste of San Diego leads culinary tours through the city's most interesting and respected foodie favorites, from the seafood of Seaport to the desserts of Eclipse Chocolate to the candy-paved sidewalk that connects the two. Other tour highlights might include gourmet olive oil from Olivetti Oil and Vinegar, the swank charm of Jsix, or Venissimo Cheese's world-renowned shrine to dairy. Tours dip into different neighborhoods depending on the theme, and the guides are always scoping out the scene to uncover hidden gems to add into the mix.

Fun experience at three restaurants. A nice way to be introduced to a new area. Friendly host! Lots of good food! She also gave some excellent suggestions for other places to try in San Diego.

I would recommend having the tour guide wear something that has their company logo on it. Shirt, hat, etc. Makes it feel more authentic and genuine.

We have told all our friends about the tour and we hope to take another one. (I took my dad as a birthday present and my mom has been hinting that that is what she'd like this year too)

Excellent time, I have been back to at least half of the restaurants twice since then.

Please do this again, but allow patrons to choose where they want to go, not just limit it for a couple of places.

Loved the idea and truly enjoyed three of the five locations. The sushi appetizers selection was out of place, as was the tuna sandwich at The Gathering. Attention should be spent on the overall total sample menu, to ensure that the variety complements one another. Otherwise, it was fun and Ken was great!
