First time experience and we will definitely be back. The food delicious and the many options make for difficult decisions.....which is just another reason why we need to return. The staff is also very personable, very available to assist even though they were understaffed (like most other restaurants for now as they try to hire up), and appreciated the clear food/drink descriptions which assisted with our menu selections.

Super good food: we had the three taco plate: salmon, chicken, steak! Every one of them was tasty, moist, yummy!
Margarita was also great!
Nice, very kind servers!
Plenty of outdoor tables!

Barrio Star has embraced Covid-style dining with plenty of outdoor seating, mask requirements, and digital menus. Service was a bit slow but they were busy with both dine-in and takeout service. Chile relleno with carnitas is the way to go. And a blueberry jalapeño margarita.

They were short staff. We had to flag the waiter to take our order. He notice we were waiting for a while and apologize. Then what came next was not expected. He offer my wife and I a tequlia shot and it was not a cheap tequlia. Great customer servces! The food was good.
