They say come even without a partner, but quite a few more girls came. We rotated partners often but girls had no partner about every 3 or 4 rotations. So we got a bit less practice :/ Most of is were good sports but bring a partner if you can!

The instructors seem very enthusiastic which is cool. I saw them when they were performing at their level and they clearly know what they're doing. It's a fun class and you'll meet lots of people, but if you aren't comfortable dancing with random people, this may not be for you. The dance sessions after the class are pretty cool (i'm not very good, but i got to watch the instructors and a friendly elderly guy danced with my girlfriend), but there's not very many people and it's not live music or anything.

We had a great time on our first day of swing dance. Both of us (my boyfriend and I) had zero experience. The dancing hall is spacious and well-lighted. The two instructors are patient, helpful, and hilarious. By the end of the night, my boyfriend and I were already considering taking intermediate class from Savoy in the future.

Had my first Swing 100 class yesterday and I loved the introduction to it - they started out with getting us familiar with the basic steps and told us that we should always be having fun.
