It is not a Irish menu. Very little Irish food. Beer selection is ok

Location isn't that great

Don't go if you don't like noise. Lots of noise on weekends. If you want to meet young drinkers, this is a place to go. I wouldn't say this is really a restaurant. It's a bar with pub food. OK , then.

They were out of three of their beers. Fix that.

The waitress took a long time checking on tables. There were only two tables with seated guests and we both were looking for her to turn up. When she did come back into the room, my friend had to get up and start walking towards her before she noticed both tables were ready to get their check. The chicken was okay however the paper it sat in was drenched in oil. It should have been allowed to drain before being served. I've eaten at hooters, wings and things and never had that experience.

The entrance to McFadden's is bleak when you enter. Customers are directed to take the stairs to the second floor where you are greeted by a large empty room (when I visited), with a long bar to the right. I had to approach the bar to determine where to be seated to see a menu. I was told that I could just sit at the bar. I received a general greeting but the bar keep had no other words concerning drink or food specials, or any other promotions. My questions concerning the food order were polite and correct, and the food came in a reasonable amount of time (considering there was only one other person at the bar). My dish was not as tasty as I had expected but I didn't express my complaint.
