About Texas State Tubes

The minds behind Texas State Tubes know that drifting downriver should only be relaxing. That’s why, through a partnership with the Texas River Alliance, the company conducts daily surface cleans and biweekly deep cleans of the San Marcos River. Those efforts pay off during the journey itself, when guests can opt to paddle across the blue, float in a spacious tube, or levitate just above the water on a raft. Once treks wrap up, the company supplies a free bus ride back to the parking lot. Groups can even park at the river’s end before receiving a complementary lift to the starting point.

The place was short-staffed but we had a good time once we were on the water.

They may not have enough coolers if you go on the weekend, so try to bring your own. It cannot be Styrofoam. Otherwise, they were perfect, and we didn't have to wait long to get our tubes or the shuttle to the start of the river! Water was perfect

No, tips. Small complaint, bathrooms are port-a-potties, which I don't mind, but these were pretty gross. One had no toilet paper and was very dirty and the other one had no lock.

We went on a Sunday and a Tuesday. Both days were great, but I would definitely recommend going during the week if you can when there are fewer people floating!
