Bring drinks and light snacks! Lines are LONG to go on the ships. Some lines up to 1 1/2hrs! Great Family event and the ships are such a WOW factor! Great music!

Plan for rain!
Even though the tallshipsphiladelphia.com website said "No backpacks." lots of people still had them. Would've been nice to have one as you can carry plenty of raingear for everyone in the group.

It was a nice venue to have the festival, friendly people on the ships and workers taking the tickets, would have liked to seen more vender participation at it though. A must see for families especially the kids!

The lines were outrageous. The rubber ducky that was the events headliner was not inflated and there was nothing advertising this before waiting in line for an hour for the ferry to cross over to see it.

Too many people and lines which were not managed well. Took the ferry to Camden and wasted 4 hours trying to see the boats which were only accessible by line to go on the ships. Could not see them otherwise. Lines were hours long so we headed back to ferry to the PA side. Waited in a huge line for over 2 hours to get on the Ferry. All in all poor management of crowds who paid money and could not not get near the ships. Will not go again.
