About Rosehill Farm

Two lit, outdoor arenas and one large covered arena occupy Rosehill Farm’s serene country setting, where owner and three-decade veteran Carla Winters spends her time instructing riders and caring for horses. Carla’s lesson program centers on the disciplines of hunt seat and dressage, both of which she teaches on top of the basics of proper equitation. On either learning track, the she tailors the lessons to individual riders’ skill sets and personal goals, be they earning ribbons in shows or becoming the first rider to wade across the English Channel. The farm also holds camps, during which youngsters enjoy two lessons and free ride time each day.

The instructor was rude, the location was in the back of a trashy home with literally trash and clutter everywhere. We showed up and stood in the driveway for almost ten minutes before someone came to us, she lead us through a maze to where the stables were. It was nice to get my daughter on a horse but I will not go back here, the woman was not very kid-friendly and I will use one of the many other stables around!
