About Helico Sonoma

Helico Sonoma's chief pilot and operating officer Daniel King shares his passion for exploring the California skies in two ways: He trains future helicopter pilots and helms aerial tours of the surrounding vineyards. The fifth-generation resident of Sonoma County and his staff lead lessons and tours at the controls of Robinson R22 Beta II and R44 Raven II helicopters, which they maintain and fly out of the Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport. Their 20- to 60-minute helicopter tours might explore areas such as the Russian River Valley, the California Coast, and nearby Napa Valley, providing passengers with stunning vineyard views normally reserved for birds and superheroes taking much-needed vacations.
