I liked Janette. She was friendly and seemed genuine and I felt really comfortable. She did not question my choice when I said how short I wanted my hair. Many other salons have. I felt respected because of that. But then, it really ended up being shorter than I wanted. She asked me lots of questions so I'm really not sure what happened. I don't think I really understood how short 1 1/2 to 2 inches is. I know it is that long on top but on the sides and back it's probably closer to an inch. We did discuss whether I wanted it feathered over my ears or cut around them and I said definitely over my ears. It's so short that there isn't enough hair to go over the top of my ears. This is no big deal. My hair will grow and If I could afford to pay full price, I would go back to her. It was just a strange experience for me and I'm a little embarrassed right now about how I look.

The reason I would not go back is that they are too expensive for my budget.

I would appreciate having a robe to change into because the neck of my shirt got soaked from the shampooing.
