The four of us had a great time today at Spann Vineyards tasting room! Peter was a wonderful host and he shared so much information about pairing wine with chocolates. If you’d like an enjoyable afternoon, find a time to meet with Peter.

Peter Spann is a wine pairing expert and likes to teach. If you’re looking to get drunk, this isn’t the tasting room for you. If you’d like to learn about thr chemistry of wine pairing, this is the place to be. Peter will give you personal attention and teach you more about pairing than you knew was possible. I’ve gone to his pizza pairing in the past and recommend that as well (at lunchtime).

Peter, was a great host. A true gentleman and a wine scholar. Greatly enjoyed the testing session.

Brought my mother there as her first stop in CA after traveling from NY. Was pleasantly surprised to learn that the owner was also originally from NY! Such a small world. He gave us a wonderful, personalized wine tasting experience. 100% will be back!
