Owner is amazing! Shop is beautiful!

Dee, the owner was so nice and helpful. I’m a new knitter and she sat down on the floor and showed me the use of double point needles and said I can come back and she will help me with my knitting. Really awesome lady with beautiful yarns.

Such a wonderful cute store. The owner was very kind and informative with her yarn and even helped give me an idea for future projects. Would recommend to anyone looking for good hand dyed yarns from a talented lady.

Deborah, the owner, is kind, patient and very creative. One step into her shop and you know you are where an artist lives. Not only has she enlarged my world of knitting, but has helped me grow in spinning and have even learned to weave through her great teaching.

It was a little confusing, because I went to the store, and it said the store was closed. I looked around, and there was a little storefront across the way that also had yarn, and a very nice lady said that she could unlock the store. I got really interesting, fun yarn - super-bulky black yarn with grey parts ($12/skein) and a skein of ribbon, like sari silk or something, for $10 that I have no idea what to do with, but I had to own it. The woman who helped me wound a couple of the skeins, and gave me some advice about using it. It seemed like there was tons of fun yarn to be had, and I would love to go there without a specific idea in mind, to get some "art yarn." All in all, I was satisfied, and will return on my next trip to Sarasota, and I'll save up a little for some art yarn.

Be prepared to have your creativity stimulated! This is a one-of-a-kind shop,very talented owner,laid back atmosphere.I come to Sarasota every Spring and save time to visit this place and get some "finds" for my yarn stash.

Art yarn, home spun, beautiful! Etchings etc. Very down to earth place, fun for exploring new textures and such!
