It took a trip halfway around the world for Rick Estes to find the inspiration for his company, Ezy Ebikes. Estes spent one year living and teaching in China, taking every available opportunity to tour the nation's cities and countryside. During his travels, he was struck how many people he saw riding ebikes: bicycles powered by eco-friendly electric motors. Upon returning home to the Phoenix area, Estes founded Ezy Ebikes with the goal of introducing more people to this alternative mode of transportation.
Although Ezy Ebikes sells various models of electric bikes, the staff also familiarizes people with the equipment by leading guided tours. Tour routes wend their way around Tempe Town Lake, Old Town Scottsdale, the Phoenix skiline, and the surrounding desert landscapes. Guests can learn about the area's history and wildlife while cruising along roads and trails at speeds up to 20 miles per hour.

this was a beautiful tour of Papago Park and Tempe Lake Area. Informative also. Easy to ride these bikes. Having some "throttle handle" experience is good and lever brakes. Enjoyed this and will take future AZ guests of ours on this tour or one of the others offered. Glad we did it!

Exceptional way to spend our morning. Our tour guides was a wealth of information and his enthusiasm was contagious. Total value for our dollars. I highly recommend this adventure. 👍👍👍

I'm already scheduled to go again. The sunset tour was magical! Rick is a great host...would only recommend that there was a way to communicate with all riders as people in the back missed some things

We toured with Rick yesterday. Holy cow!!!!
We were expecting to arrive at a shop then ride around on park paths. The bikes were awesome, Rick was awesome, the tour was awesome. We went everywhere, through Papago park, the zoo, downtown Tempe, around the canals. We had a wonderful time and HIGHLY recommend the Ezy Ebikes tour.

The riders should really be quite comfortable bike riders before trying the Ebikes.
