Went here for lunch while visiting the area. Food wasn't anything to brag about, service was ok. Place was dark and a little dreary. Maybe it was just one of those days? I don't know but I probably wouldn't go there again.

Good food and friendly service.

The portions are huge. The waiter, a young man there in the early afternoon is very efficient. The chef put our toast on a heated plate, so it stayed warm longer. It's been there since the 1930's, so it is a throw-back.

We enjoyed our lunch very much! The menu offered everything!! Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. I love the retro.

Typical American diner food but the service was excellent and the food just like home cooking. 👌🏻👌🏻

Great food and atmosphere with a divey vibe

Quality has declined. The chicken fried steak had gravy that looked like oil and separated milk. It wasn’t gravy at all. The steak itself was burnt. Maybe just got them on a bad day because I have always had great food here. The cooks didn’t seem to know the menu either which they saw was changed recently.

I went to Mecca as a kid. It was good then. Still good now.

Kinda awful (even when drunk) bar food. Waiter was nice though
