About Shamrock Farms

The red roofs of Shamrock Farms’ hand-built barns appear amid 180 rolling acres of Kentucky Bluegrass, interrupted only by a 4-acre lake. In 31 ventilated stalls, Saddlebreds and Gypsy Vanners—including everything from show horses to yearlings—enjoy sunny views and wait for their chance to run through the pastures or one of the 55’x55’ indoor arenas. The Farms’ foundation stands on two core principals; safety and good horsemanship. Those principals are practiced during the lessons they offer for riders of all ages– from beginners to advanced students. During lessons, as students achieve personal goals, they are also taught riding fundamentals such as grooming, tacking, and untacking. Shamrock Farms also hosts an active youth club, popular horse showings– available to interested adults and children– as well as seasonal camps.
