About Hand Made Events

Garrett Sathre and Nicole Benjamin-Sathre had just started their own business, Hand Made Events, when they first heard of PopUp Dinners. These impromptu events assemble thousands of strangers for a meal, some conversation, and a few hours of magic. The couple decided to try their hand at hosting such an event. Their first PopUp Dinner in San Francisco drew 3,500 attendees, all dressed in white, bringing their own food and drinks to spend a night talking with friends and meeting others for the first time. After that night, the couple was hooked. Since then, they've made it their mission to bring PopUp Dinners to cities all around the nation, and perhaps eventually to cities all around the moon, once such cities are founded.
