About Obstbaum Orchards

Obstbaum Orchards' name means fruit tree in German. And it is home to just that: orchards full of cherries and apples, which transform into ciders, wines, donuts, pies, and caramel apples. During spring, summer, and fall, the orchard is open each weekend for picnics, hayrides, and meandering strolls through the pumpkin patch with a headless scarecrow eagerly awaiting a makeover. Fresh-pressed cider, apple-cider donuts, and apple pies are made right before visitors' eyes, and seasonal crafts entertain the whole family.

My daughter and I had a very nice time. It was just what we needed to slow down and enjoy the beautiful day. The family that owns the orchard is so friendly and down-to-earth. The hayride was relaxing and informative. I enjoyed this so much more than going to Erwin's (in South Lyon) or Spicer's (in Hartland). It was like going back in time to the old days. Yummy donuts and cider too!

Such a nice group of people. answered lot of questions and had really yummy doughnuts to go with the cider. Got some beautiful apples while we were there, too. Anxious to try the wine. Sounds yummy.

Not too busy. Line was a little long at prime time afternoon, but it wasn't a long wait. They offered a variety of foods from apples to donuts to wine to honey and much more.
