Q&A with Nick, Dropzone Owner And Skydiving Instructor
I'm a first-timer. How do you get me ready for the experience?
There is a four hour ground school training session followed by the solo jump on the same day. The training is a mix of in classroom power point and hands on learning. In the training, we explain everything the jumpers need to know in order to do a solo skydive. For the hands on learning, we have a training harness for jumpers to practice on. We basically go through the whole skydive on the ground before the actual jump.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
There is the excitement and thrill of skydiving. It's also a very interesting group of friends.
Apart from your business's main attraction, do you offer any "hidden" services or activities that visitors are always delighted to learn about?
There is a restaurant on premise open on Saturdays. First time jumpers and others observers that come out to watch always enjoy watching our regular jumpers float down. It's very pretty to see canopies in the air floating to the ground.
