I recommend this place!

I was nervous when I arrived. based on the location and atmosphere when I walked in. However, I have two friends who have been to Shear Elegance with only good things to say. The ambiance is less than pampering and going here is neither quiet nor is it in the most appealing location. However, Helen and Vasilio seem to know what they are doing and are very nice.

Nothing this place was absolutely disgusting, they were not nice and there was hair on te floor from the previous night it was horrible and they did the minimum they could it was overall terrible not to mention the woman cutting my hair was over an hour late for the appointment.

This was the most unprofessional, disorganized salon I've ever been too. Besides the fact that nobody asked for my name or introduced themself, the woman who did my color had 3 inches of black roots and yellow unkept hair. She did not ask me what I wanted or consult with me and just went to mix the color. I had to stop her and tell her what I wanted. Nobody was behind the check in desk and I waited 20 minutes past my appointment without being greeted. The staff were either on their cell phone or looking at it while it charged. The owner never said hello even though I was inches from him. My head almost burnt from the high heat dryer and water was splashed all over my face during the washing.

Somehow I don't feel the owner has the money to upgrade the atmosphere or facility. They could try to keep it cleaner. They should not market it as an upscale salon however. On the other hand, I want to reiterate that very nice people work there, but the place is unappealing.
