I thought it was pretty good. I tried the fright nights at the fair and was not happy at all, especially after paying 20 dollars. I only paid five dollars for this event and had a far more enjoyable time, I actually got scared and I am happy about that.
Loved the idea of a firepit to stay warm while waiting for your turn to take the terror trail. Also, they had a movie playing (Chainsaw Massacre) while waiting around near the firepit. The terror trail was a lot of scary fun. I already told a bunch of friends about it.
very good!!! had a blast!!!
Very entertaining. I jumped a few times and I never jump! Should only get better over the years.
There was a 2 hour wait until our turn, but the weather was nice and there was a fire pit so we were comfortable. It would have be nice if hot cocoa and/or coffee and donuts or popcorn were offered. The trail was sufficiently scary and lots of fun.
I thought that the scare-actors were very invested in the experience and did a great job. I was directly behind our tour guide so I didn't feel that many of the scares came my way, which was disappointing. Overall it was a very good time. One suggestion would be bigger road signs because everyone in our party missed the entrance at least once.
It depends who you have in your group. It would've been a lot better if everyone in our group wasn't talking, including the leader who works there. Plus one of the girls in our group knew one of the people working, which made it less interesting.
Not very exciting, the whole event lasted 20 minutes. I was expecting more for my money.
We sat in the cold for over 45 minutes waiting for them to get set up and for the first round of people to go thru. They made people hold on to a rope on the walk which was not necessary because there was enough light to see the person in front of you, and actually made it more difficult to walk. The walk itself was way too short and not scary at all. The strobe light nearly blinded you. It was not fun and I'm glad I didn't pay full price.
They are a small family run operation. They really need to expand and hire more personnel. I believe they are a work in progress and might give them another chance in a few years.
