I had the IPL for dark/age spots on my face. Based on a friends experience at another provider I expected pain, post procedure swelling and a week of downtime. My experience at Advanced Laser was completely different. During the whole procedure Renda, my esthetician, was checking my comfort level and checking to make sure every little spot (even those I could not see) was treated. Post procedure I had no pain, discomfort or swelling. The next day I applied my Arbonne tinted moisturizer and went about my business. By day 4 I can see a real difference as the brown spots are coming to the surface and sluffing off.
