About Angel Island Company

Enhancing the opportunities for adventure and views on its namesake state park, Angel Island Company curates a host of activities and tours, and offers noshes at its café and oyster bar. Listed as a National Historic Landmark and on the National Registry of Historic Places, the island features miles of hiking trails and panoramic views of the Bay Area from its highest point at the summit of Mt. Livermore. Tram tours journey across the scenic terrain, stopping at historic and picturesque sites, including the US Immigration Station, which served as a passageway to America for hundreds of thousands of immigrants from 1910 to 1940. Bike rentals allow self-guided exploration of the five-mile perimeter road, and two-hour guided tours via Segway give visitors a more in-depth perspective of the area. During summer weekend afternoons, local artists fill the air with free live music, and Hog Island Oysters are served on the half shell through October.
