What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

35 years ago, Chris began working as a part-time teacher at Suncoast Academy. She is now the owner of the center. Although she still spends plenty of time in the classroom teaching the pre-kindergarten class, she says the best part of her job is fostering a love of education in her students.

What do you love most about your job?

Since we believe the first years in life are extremely important in influencing a child’s development, we have built our philosophy around understanding the individual needs of the child. The best part of our job is fostering a love of education in our students.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

rom the moment I walked into the Suncoast, I felt the warm, family air. Our son has had 4 wonderful years there of friendships, fun, and learning with both his teachers and now lifelong friends. We look forward to the same for our 9 month baby girl. ~ Jackie Cahill
