More than 20 years ago, husband-and-wife bodybuilders Glenn and Lisa Ducharme left the competition circuit to settle down. But for them, settling down didn’t mean ditching the barbells for a desk job. Instead, they fulfilled their dream of opening a fitness center where members could gain the same health benefits that the Ducharmes experienced first-hand during their competitive careers. Today at East Coast Fitness, the couple and their staff of trainers oversee personal-training sessions, group classes, and karate programs for kids and adults.
