Stretching across more than a thousand acres at the foot of southern Indiana's Hoosier National Forest, Wilstem's rolling farmland is home to creeks, caves, natural-rock outcroppings, and more than 30 miles of woodland trails, marking it as an ideal family escape. Jeff the Bear Man was fantastic! Bob and Screech are so well cared for. They were playing with a rock that they wanted to get into their pool. Everyone in our group loved it.

While Wilstem seems to be leaning towards becoming a drive thru Safari park, our favorite part is always the encounters. This time did not disappoint. Jeff "the bear man" is very knowledgeable, personable and engaging. Bob and Screech are adorable. The great relationship between this man and his bears is evident.

It is a great experience and I loved all of it we saw the bears and the kangaroo the kangaroo are so gentle we also saw porcupine i had never seen then up close befor we saw the graffiti we realy loved them i learned alot about the animals things that i had never known llike a graffiti is simpler to a cow and the elephant are similar to a horse everyone was so knowable i recommend it for the

The Bear Man is amazing! He does an excellent job interacting with the bears, as well as providing visitors with knowledge about them. Although I wouldn’t recommend it for young children, he does a great job captivating audiences of all ages. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and spends seven days a week doing encounters for people. Wilstem is lucky to have him! Sure hope he’s paid well!

Great day trip! Our family of 4 visited for the grizzly bear experience & got to see so much more! Good variety of creatures to observe & interact with. Jeff the grizzly guy was very informative & conscientious of the safety of his bears & himself. They were fascinating & a good opportunity to safely get up close to animals you'd otherwise never want to be near in their normal environment.

The gentleman in the kangaroo barn was amazing! I had several small children with me and he took great time and care to make sure everyone got to see the animals and gave them age appropriate information. The bears were also amazing. Their owner also was very patient and understanding of the young children. He kept the information exciting, brief and age appropriate. They took several pictures for us throughout the facility and had great patience with our group of kids. We will definitely go back for the elephants!

It is a very nice place. Well put together place, very clean, and the people are extremely nice that run the place and what they do is amazing for the animals. They truly do care!
