About Tasty Cooking Carry-Out & Catering

Raniya Sassine grew up around parents and grandparents who she says were fantastic cooks. When she was just 8 years old, she decided she wanted to follow in their footsteps and began helping out in the kitchen, eventually working in the kitchens of her uncle's party stores and supermarkets.

She now has her own place, Tasty Cooking, where she whips up hot and cold sandwiches, tosses fresh ingredients into salads, and cooks daily entrees, such as grilled chicken in a creamy caper sauce. She also crafts Middle Eastern, Greek, Italian, Mexican, and American dishes for large crowds at weddings and business luncheons. The local Apple store has also counted on her food to get employees through a tough iPhone release day. Anyone who wants to try their hand at replicating Raniya's dishes can pick up one of her two cookbooks, Tasty Cooking and (More) Tasty Cooking (II).
