Really enjoyed both the tour of the winery and distillery. Our tour guide for the winery was Ray, and he was great! He actually manages the winery, so he gave us first hand information about how the wine goes from grape to bottle. The tour of the distillery was so interesting! Our tour guide was Christian Klay himself. Everything that we tasted was great, especially the different moonshines!

Ray was both informative and enjoyable. We liked several of the wines and purchased two different varieties. We then proceeded to the Ridgerunner Distillery. Christian shared his expertise with us and allowed six tastings. He has a gem in this business and it seems to be a good fit for him. We will visit both sites again.

What a fun time! We came alone but having friends with you would be a hoot.
Learned a lot about the different types of grapes and the unique flavors they give you. Also about the labor intense efforts into making moonshine.
Really enjoyed the Chestnut Ridge Wine and the Root Beer Moonshine!

So nice to sit down with the owner and hear about how the winery came to be and a little about each wine that we tested. Such a nice afternoon and with beautiful early November weather. We are already planning a trip back!
