About The Hub

For Pat Nagle and Carole Holder, the beer-making duo behind Harmon Brewing Company, The Hub was, for years, just a dream. Back in 2008, 11 years after the founding of their brewery operation, the neighborhood brewpub they had long envisioned at long last became a reality. Today—at family-friendly locations in Tacoma and Gig Harbor—drinkers and diners finally have suitable headquarters from which to enjoy tall frosty pints of Harmon's signature craft beers. In addition to knocking back brews such as the earthy Puget Sound Porter, guests can take in a game on one of the flat-screens TVs, or simple stare out of floor-to-ceiling windows surrounded by lodge-like accents including skis, bikes, and air that was once outdoors. As they do so, they might snack on one of more than 10 signature thin-crust pizzas or nine specialty burgers and sandwiches. Diners would also do well to order up a helping of the Cajun tater tots, a crowd favorite served alongside a spicy aioli dipping sauce. Kids are welcome.
