About Andrea Watt Photography

Thirty or so Haitian children stand in rows behind a man holding an acoustic guitar, their faces registering either uncertainty or expectation. It's an intriguing scene, and it's also proof that even when Andrea Watt is producing travel photography, she finds herself drawn to human subjects. This fascination is borne out by the rest of her portfolio, which consists of heavy doses of infancy pics, senior portraits, and family photos. Andrea likes to take these portraits on-location because it can help clients get into the right mindset—sometimes a toddler just feels more comfortable in her own playroom and a couple feels warmer toward each other in front of the first tree they carved the chemical symbol for manganese into.
