Be prepared to have fun and LEARN. I learned so much, started at the beginning and worked my way up. Since then I have started my own Photography Business and won several awards. Monica my teacher was wonderful and let me contact her with questions as I started learning about the business end. It's exciting to see your work sell and people enjoy it. I also donate several times a year to a local hospital charity auction. Without Monica and flying photo this wouldn't have happened.

I'm an amateur photographer exploring the possibility of turning the hobby into a side business. Up until now, I had been shooting in auto mode, but I've gathered that a good photographer should know how to shoot a camera in manual mode. I started with Digital Photography 101, which shows you how to transition from auto to manual and more. Considering I didn't know much when I started I can safely say that they are appropriate even for novice beginners. The courses are very easy to understand and the interactive part of it makes the information stick. There's quizzes, videos, and even homework assignments with feedback from instructors. By far, best $19 bucks I had ever spent on a hobby. I've since purchased more vouchers for other courses from Flying Photo School. I definitely recommend it.
