The tour itself was informative and interesting although the group sizes were too large. The meal was of very poor quality with lengthy waits and the serving sizes were far to small - items needed to be rationed and many people at our table said they were going to go out for something else as they did not get enough to eat.

They were extremely disorganized. They had clearly oversold the event and not communicated this with the restaurant. We had been told we would receive an 8 course DUI we. After 1 and1/2 hours we had received soup and two appetizers. We left hungry and unhappy. Although the guides were great they completely missed the mark from the very beginning. They forgot to take a head count at the beginning of the tour. Had they done so they would gave been able to convey that information to the restaurant. I would perhaps try them again but would expect that they would implement a better protocol.

The tour was unexceptional, nothing you couldn't have done on your own, and there were far too. Many people

group size is too large, dinner took to long 2 1/2 hours and there was not enough food for everyone. Most people had to go without trying a dish or two.

the vendor should have limited the number of people, too many patrons made it difficult to move us around china town and limited the number of stops we could make. Also so many people made it difficult to deliver dishes at the restaurant in a timely manner. this was all the more unfortunate as the food was good (though not much of it either) so I don't think they would get much word-of-mouth marketing from that when it really was due to the numbers of patrons. I would go back to the Szechwan City just to give the food another try. It was a fun way to celebrate the new year though :) thanks, W
