We went for the Rotorfest all helicopter airshow. It was fun and walking around the museum was fun, but it was smaller than I expected. Probably if we had gone on a regular day just to see the museum it would not have been as "underwhelming" but when we were in a crowd and expected a larger airshow like we had seen at another local airport it was a tiny bit disappointing to my 8 year old and his friend. They had more fun playing the games and stuff that were there and could barely have cared less about the airshow or the museum.

We had a great time at the Rotor Fest. The museum had some great helicopters on display and some nice hands on exhibits.

Go early, bring folding chairs, camera and relax. The air show was interesting. Talking with the Coast Guard crew was very informative. Their demonstration of land and sea recues was chilling.

We went for a special event, but we are planning on going back just to visit the Museum. Definitely take time for a helicopter ride! Incredible!
