Doctor of Chiropractic Chris Chase believes conditions such as back pain, migraines, and sciatica result from a condition called anterior head syndrome (AHS). The most visible sign of the syndrome is a head the droops forward in front of the shoulders due to factors such as gravity, the weight of the head, poor posture, or a really heavy hat. From this drooping comes a tense spine, which is an ideal condition from which pain can sprout. At Dr. Chase's clinic, Advanced Chiropractic, he and his staff treat AHS using structural-correlation techniques, which are chiropractic techniques that focus on correcting the spine and recentering the head between the shoulders.
