Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, CroydonAbout Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company
Jeremy Myers is no stranger to career changes. Since graduating from Penn State in '98, he's taught high school, worked in IT, and managed a record label. But it wasn't until he got into homebrewing that he felt truly passionate about what he was doing. So after interning at a brewery, working at a craft-beer shop, and becoming a certified beer judge, Jeremy opened Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co.
Here, at the county's first production brewery, Jeremy and his team use the namesake creek's water in their entire lineup of beers. Their award-winning flagship beer, County Line IPA, is a robust blend of five hop styles, whereas Croydon Cream Ale is a lighter brew with hints of sugar and flora. In addition to these year-round offerings, Neshaminy produces limited-edition beers such as Punkless Dunkel, a pumpkin wheat ale aged in bourbon barrels. Visitors can sip the different styles in the onsite taproom, or take them home in growlers and, if they're a wizard, a bottomless bag.
