Melissa Michalczyk strives to see beauty in everything, and throughout six years as a professional photographer, she has worked tirelessly to capture it in its natural habitat. As flashbulbs light up the second-floor studio that New Girl Photography calls home, Melissa coaxes forth her subjects’ inner sirens with friendly chatter and posing pointers during her signature boudoir-photo shoots. A strong believer that every photograph should tell a story, Melissa orchestrates candid shots to artfully tease out meaningful images in portrait session or at special events from weddings to baby’s first recitation of Homer’s The Iliad.
