There is a lot of walking and some of the sidewalks are uneven, but it is very doable for most everyone. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes if you plan to walk all of Old Salem.

No drinking or eating in buildings, so prep to have your snacks and food packed away. Also park at the visitor center, so that when the kids finish their super sleuth, they can get the prize at the visitor center (this is the only location to get the prize).
