About Duncan's Corn Maze

When the field of corn reaches above D.J. and Loretta Duncan’s heads, it is time to get to work. But rather than mowing everything down, the owners of the dairy farm instead hop in their their tractor and carve out a complicated maze design. Each year, the maze celebrates a different theme, ranging from the cows the Duncans milk to The Mountain Folk radio, web, and TV show. Creating every twist and turn in the corn maze is only one way the Duncan’s share their life on the farm with the community. Visitors can also stroll through the two-acre pumpkin patch to select a future jack-o-lantern, or relax by the open fire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. A designated kids’ play area is equipped with giant bales of straw to climb, a big slide, and a giant sling shot that launches gourds into the air.
